Raising Cane Podcast #3: Gospel

The Wildlife West Bluegrass Festival asked Raising Cane to play some gospel at their festival in August 2006. Here’s the result. The podcast starts with our version of “Swing Low” with Aimee singing lead. Then Rich takes over for “John, The Revelator,” followed by Greg singing his song off of the new CD, “Gonna Make Hay.” The podcast ends with our arrangement of “Wayfaring Stranger” with Aimee singing lead and Greg and Don having some fun trading solos.

Some big news: we got a great review of our “Ride the Rain” CD in the October 2006 issue of Bluegrass Unlimited.

Thanks for tuning in to the Raising Cane podcasts. Hope you enjoy the music!

Raising Cane Podcast #2

Here’s part of the show when we opened for Peter Rowan and Tony Rice at the Lobo Theatre. We had a fabulous time and got a standing ovation and an encore from the audience who was really there to see Peter and Tony. In this podcast: “In a Cabin by the Woods” by Aimee Hoyt, and “Bound for Glory,” “The Price You Pay,” and “Fleckstone” all by Greg Daigle. Hope you enjoy the podcast.
